ROTARY YOUNG CHEF OF THE YEAR
Ben Gibson was the winner of the first Helensburgh Rotary Club Young Chef of the Year competition held at Hermitage Academy.
Nine entrants had half an hour for preparation and 90 minutes cooking time under the watchful eye of judge Ryan Marshall, Executive Chef of the Lodge on Lomond Hotel.
The event was organised by Linda Harvey and members of the club's new youth activities committee.
Ben, who won a cheque for £30, will now go forward to the West of Scotland final.
